Plus-Size Activewear To Live In

There are more and more plus-size activewear brands appearing, giving us more options to find activewear that is both functional and stylish. We rounded up the best of the best, after asking our Facebook community for their recommendations.

Here are our favorite places to shop for plus-size activewear:

Lola Getts

The legging brand that kept coming up again and again in our Facebook group? Lola Getts. Their fit was praised as was the fabric, being called substantial with one member even mentioning that Lola Getts leggings are her go-to for cold weather running.

SuperFit Hero

Featuring leggings with pockets. This activewear brand has a cult like community of plus-size athletes. Our community group noted that they have good, supportive compression leggings. But did we mention the pockets?

Girlfriend Collective

Known for their sustainability efforts, Girlfriend Collective came highly recommended. With every style offered in an array of colors and in sizes XXS - 6XL, and all made out of recycled plastic, it's hard to pass on Girlfriend. Members of our Facebook group mentioned that Girlfriend leggings are completely opaque, making them perfect for a yoga class or a cute athleisure outfit, but maybe not for a high impact workout. Pro tip: shop Girlfriend at Nordstrom so you can take advantage of the free return policy.

RSport

Trying to fill the void in the market for plus-size performance wear, RSport has technical details that make all the difference like a crossover waistband that expands when you're in downward dog but contracts when you're upright.

Nike

The ubiquitous activewear brand made headlines when they started featuring plus-size mannequins that looked, well, actually plus-size. The Dri-FIT Legend Top comes highly recommended.

Athleta recently launched their plus size collection, and members of our Facebook Group report that the fit isn't always perfect, likely because it's new. But the Lightning Pants come highly recommended. And they have pockets.
